Eridania (For bass clarinet and marimba)

Eridania (for bass clarinet and marimba) - performed by Transient Canvas from Andrew Boscardin on Vimeo.

Eridania is believed to have been a colossal lake on ancient Mars, with a surface area that once spanned 1.1 million square kilometers. Were there chaotic and violent tsunamis, formed by plummeting asteroids during the Late Heavy Bombardment? Was the lake surrounded by tranquil beaches? Was there life beneath the depths? The waters of Eridania and any life they contained have been ghosts now for billions of years, and their secrets are buried deep in the Martian clay. Spooky AF.Performed by Transient Canvas:Amy Advocat, clarinetMatt Sharrock, marimba and percussion
